[Kickstarter] Awesome Kickstarters Going on Now!

So I love all the awesome art that the fandom community does! And there are some amazing artist out there, right now there are two Kickstarters I have been watching hoping they make their goals, and one I am really excited to see start!

The Stompadon Plishie!

Kelsey does amazing art and her original character Stompadon is getting a plushie! And it is super cute. She also has a few other great perks like story books, comicgrab bags and a maquette. There are 18 days left on this one so definitely give it a look and donate!! Stompadon is a lovable Kaiju monster and you know you want one protecting you as you sleep at night! Norfolk Merdogs Corgi Mermaid Plushie

A few months ago Shlii did a Merpug and now she is doing a Corgi, she has met her goal and this one has 6 days left to go. There are other perks like keychains, pins and art as well. You can check this one out here.

Kimchi Kawaii Purrista Pawfee

This one I am super excited for because I really want the two Mewcaron plushie. I have the pink one from her earlier kickstarter, and in Sept. she will have another to try and fund the rest of the plushies she wants to do! Check out her fb page here!

I am so excited to see these amazing artist funding their creations! I really hope all these kickstarters make their goals because it is so fun to see such cute art and plushies out there! 

[Kickstarter] Purrista Pawfee Cat Plush by Kimchi Kawaii

 

Back in January I found out about a really cure Kickstarter that was going on from artist Kimchi Kawaii. It was to get all her really cute Cat cafe inspired art made into plushies! There was a large variety of plushies, mainly a cute cat as a coffee cup, but the one that caught my eye was a stretch goal, The Mewcaron! I had to have this cute kitty French Macaron, so I waited until she met the goal for it and pledged $30 to get the cute little guy! I also got a really fun sticker as well. The kickstarter did amazingly well making $ 23,107!!! That's a lot of plush kitties!

 

This little guy is super soft and squishy and 8 inches tall! And look how happy he is! Kimchi Kawaii has also stated designing a purple and green one as well that each have different expressions!

 

The sticker I received is of the Catpuccino, which was the main goal for the kickstarter! This sticker is super cute and will find a good home on something of mine very soon! 

 

I know Kimchi Kawaii has a few other cute coffee cat inspired plushies that they are working on, and if you follow them on facebook you get to see some cute sketches that she posts of ideas as well! You can check them out here online!

 

[Kickstarter] Norfolk Merpugs by Shlii

So I am way behind on writing about some of the fun Kickstarters I helped fund. I got this one back in November, if that says anything! I love Pugs (If you couldn't tell.) So when I found out about Shlii's Merpug plushy kickstarter, I had to donate and get one! I love Pug stuffed animals and this one was also a mermaid, which are also pretty awesome. 

I donated $25.00 to this one, which got me the Mer Pug plush, a sticker, and a computer wallpaper. The quality of the plush is fantastic and it is so soft and squishy! Also being from Virginia, I thought the concept of taking the Norfolk Mermaid and making it into cute dogs was a really fun idea!

Even my grumpy Siamese kitty thought so!

I was able to pick my stuff up at NekoCon once Shlii found out I donated and had stuff in it, since it saved her on having to ship it to me, which I was thrilled since I really wanted this little guy! 

And now he has a wonderful home next to all my other Pug plushies (which truthfully are not that many.) I would definately check out all the awesome stuff that Shlii does, her Facebook page is here, and it has links to her other sites that she has.

Reaper Miniatures Bones II: The Return Of Mr Bones! Kickstarter

So back in October of 2013 I backed the second Bones kickstarter. I back the first one with friends, you can see that post here. This time I only got add on options and nothing big. I really wanted the plastic mouslings, some dragons and some heroes. The box this time was much smaller. Basically Ill just post some photos of the miniatures I got in this kickstarter and let you know what they are so you can see the quality and how they are made.





These Mouslings are so cute! I have a bunch of metal ones from Bones, but these are so much easier to manage and the detail is great! These mouslinsgs are all fantasy themed. Princess, Wizard, robin hood type, and so on. I cannot wait to paint these!







  Next up I have the new design of Mr. Bones! This guy is awesome. He has great detail, and is one solid piece of plastic!

So overall I am super happy with the minis I got. I was REALLY sad that their police box miniature only came in a add on set for 50$. It was not worth the money to me since all the other minis in the set were not ones I would have used and I desperately wanted that police box.

Overall I have been happy with the quality of the Bones minis in their new plastic line. I have so many of the metal figures, and I really like these way better.

Bones Kickstarter finally here!

So after a long, long wait, the Bones Kickstarter box is finally here!! I went in with a group of people to pledge for this kickstarter about a year ago.  I very much wanted the clockwork dragon and a few other small minis! The kickstarter ran from July 23, 2012 - August 27 2012. They raised over 3 million dollars to put their plastic minis in production! Super amazing that it did that well and they had such a response from the gaming and miniature painting community!

A large box about ten in a half pounds showed up on the door step today!

Very excited and very ready for it we opened it!

(So magical!)
There were so many little bags and boxes inside the box, including one big one (which was the pledge level we all took, the Vampire level)

(In its own pretty box just incase we forgot, how spiffy is that!)
Then we opened up the vampire box to see all the pretties inside of it!

(Can't wait to get painting and playing!!)
We also had a crap ton of add-on minis as well!

Very excited for the new miniatures! (Clockwork Dragon!!!!) It took just under a year for them all to get to us, which with how many they sold and the productions of all these minis, that is pretty darn awesome! Cant wait to actually get a better look at them all and see just how the plastic over the metal reaper minis look!
