[Tea Review] Kusmi Tea "Blue Detox"

Now if you read my tea blog you are familar with the French tea company Kusmi. I have reviewed a lot of their teas in the past. This time I decided to try one of their newer teas "Blue Detox". I generally do not buy "detox" teas, but this one sounded like it would be really good, so I decided to give it a try

Blue Detox is a green tea with mint and pineapple flavors added to it. From the box it has an amazing pineapple smell to it. Once steeped it has a great mint smell with hints of fruity pineapple. The taste is a light green tea taste with a hint of mint, and a subtle pineapple aftertaste. Not overpowering while still having a great flavor.

Kusmi sells their teas in a variety of different ways from loose leaf (in different sized containers) to tea bags to individually wrapped tea bags. I normally buy the loose or the muslin tea bags (since I travel a lot and it is easier on the mess.) This time I got the muslin tea bags, however in the box they weren't muslin, which was interesting, since I am so used to them. Still tasted great and am really happy I tried this one out! The box I purchased retailed for $17.40, and you can find all the purchasing ways on their webpage here.

[Tea Review] Kusmi Tea "St Petersburg" Black Tea

I know I write a lot about Kusmi Tea's. I love all the flavors from them, that I have tried. (and have yet to actually try them all so far, because they make so many!) With each order you generally get three sample tea bags of other teas, so they are really good about reeling you in to try more of their products, which is what happened with the St. Petersburg Tea! This was a tea sample I received, absolutely loved and then bought a box of it!

For those of you who do not know what Kusmi Tea is, it is a tea company out of Paris. They make all different types of teas, from Black, Green, White and other tea blends. All in either Loose or Tea Bag varieties. Their webpage delivers tea to all over the world, and I found out about them a few years ago and have not looked back since. St. Petersburg is from their Russian Tea line. And also can we talk about their packaging for a second. The boxes are really pretty! One side is in French and the other in English. Just really lovely looking!

The St. Petersburg tea was one I was not so sure about, until I opened the box and OMG the smell, it was heaven. So much bergamot and caramel flooded my nose and I was in love. If this was a perfume I would wear it everyday, but instead Ill just drink this tea because it is amazing! The tea is a black tea with bergamot, vanilla, caramel, and red fruits.

I ordered the 20 muslin tea bags since they are easier for me to travel with, however they do sell square tea bags and loose tea as well.

And the taste is amazing! It is a strong black tea with a hint of bergamot and caramel to it. The taste is wonderful and this has currently became  my morning tea because it is strong and very tasty.
You can find it online here.  along with all the other teas Kusmi offers.

[Tea Review] Kusmi Tea Sweet Love

Kusmi Tea did a special for Valentines day, with any purchase you got a free .88 oz. tin of their Sweet Love tea. I was running low on their Strawberry Green Tea, so I took this as an opportunity to try out a new tea! I figured since it is February why not review a tea that has to do with love!

Now I am going to start off with this is not your normal, everyday, breakfast tea. Unless your normal tea is spicy.... or has a licorice kick to it. The OK, it is. However this tea is a good change when you normally drink bergamot or fruity teas.

This tea does have a licorice taste to it. More so than a spicy taste. The spice taste comes as an after taste once you have had time for all the flavors to sit. The smell I can best describe as "hot licorice" it has that pepper smell, but also that black licorice smell to it as well. Just from the smell of this tea you really know what you are getting! I will say, that when I say this tea is spicy, it is not hot spicy, I have had hotter, and this is very very mild in the spicy hot taste scale.

The small tins from Kusmi are loose tea, and the tea in their tins always looks amazing! They packed this tin full too! The tops go on very tight and stay on, so the tea stays fresh! They also sell this tea in tea bags as well! Tea bags cost $16.70 and then the tins go up from there. You can find it online here.
