[Korean Beauty] Beauteque Mask Maven June 2016

I have been doing Mask Maven for a few months, and love it! Every month I get like 9 masks to use and enjoy. Nothing is more comfortable than chilling out on the sofa under a blanket with a sheet mask on! Mask Maven is a great monthly bag that Beauteque does where you get a bag filled with masks every month for $13.95 a month! Junes theme was sweets, and each mask has a fun "sweets" theme to them.

A'Pieu Melon and Milk Mask. This mask had a ton of product on it and was drippy, but it felt good and left my skin feeling cool and soft after I took it off. It is supposed to have milk protein in it for softer and brighter skin.

NOHJ Manuka Honey Mask. This mask went on super easy (sometimes they don't want to go on smooth on your face) it had a great cooling effect on my face and the product soaked into my skin really well, no greasy feeling after I took it off.

Ipuda Strawberry Mask. This mask smelled great. It was a bit big, and the edges wanted to pop up, but it had a lot of product and soaked into the skin well.

Dr. Morita Green Tea and Amino Essence Moisturizing Facial Mask, This mask didn't have a smell to it. It went on easy and had a decent amount of product. I left it on a little longer than the other masks so my skin could soak it all in.

Lovemore Rose Hybrid Whiting Mask. So far my favorite out of this months masks. It smelled AMAZING! Just like roses. The mask came in-capsuled between two sheets, a thick white one and a blue on. The mask was in the middle. (I almost thought the blue part was the mask....) It had a good amount of product and it soaked into the skin really well. I would get this one again in a heart beat.

LUS Royal Jelly Essence Mask: This was my least favorite mask in the bunch. It did not smell good at all, I actually took the mask off before the 15 min mark because it smelled awful. It had a lot of product on it, and went on my face fine, but I couldn't get over the smell of it.

Lovemore Wine Yeast Whitening Sheet Mask: This was about the same as the Rose Hybrid above. It had the two pieces that the mask was between in the package. It did have a sake smell to it but it was very light. It went on great and felt wonderful on my face. I really like this companies masks!

Daylight and Hue Propolis Mask: this mask went on easy and had a slight honey smell to it. It is for firming and softening skin.

The last mask is the Hanaka Macaron Facial Mask in Hyaluronic Acid. I love these little masks, they are not sheet Masks, you apply an even dose of the mask on your face and let it stay for 15-20 min and then wipe it off with warm water once that time is up. I also love how if you have two of these and put the packaging together it makes a cute French Macaron!

Mask Maven is a monthly Mask bag from Beauteque and costs 18.95 (including the shipping). I have been doing this for a few months now and love what I get each month!

[Korean Beauty] Urban Dollkiss Delicious Collagen Jelly Pack

I have been eyeing the Urban Dollkiss Collagen Jelly Pack for awhile. I have a weird fascination with collagen products and really wanted to try this one out. Since I won a $50.00 gift card on instagram from Beauteque (posting those photos of your purchases do occasionally pay off!) I decided to use it partially on this face product! (as well as some other stuff!)

The container is good sized and there is a lot of product in it (10.10 ounces.) The lid screws off and the cream is a jelly consistency that you scoop out with a small spoon that is included in the box. I had way too much fun jiggling this stuff around inside the container after taking the top off because the consistency was so different to other face products I have used.

You rub the jelly on your skin and let it soak in. Collagen promotes elasticity and the strength of your skin. I put this on at night since it gives your skin time to soak the product in while you sleep (and you need the extra moisture at night since that's when your skin looses the most.) I really love how this stuff feels on my skin too, it goes on smooth and soaks in well, and has a nice cool feeling on your skin. It retails for $24.00 and can be found on Beauteque here.

[Beauty] June 2016 Beauteque BB Bag

Beauteque's BB Bag is always a really fun monthly bag to get, it comes with six full sized Korean products and a cute makeup bag. Each month has a theme, this months was "Sweets", which I was really excited about since it was products with a food theme. The bag this month wasn't my favorite, but it is spacious and can hold a lot even if it is not visually amazing.

Each month Beauteque does spoilers for their bag, they announced 1,2,3 and 6 on the list. I really like this so you have an idea of what you are getting, while also still having a surprise for 2 or 3 of the items in the bag.

Holika Holika Cover Hiding Concealer in #2

Holika Holika Cover Hiding Concealer is a pretty straight forward product. its a pencil concealer. The color was actually pretty good for my skin tone. It was creamy and went on smooth and blended well into my skin. It is also not a huge product size so it fits well into my makeup bag.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask

This mask is great! It exfoliates and feels good on your skin. You scoop it out and put it on your skin, keep it on for 15 minutes or so, and then wash it off. After using this my skin felt great, clean and smooth.

The Saem Chocopie Hand Cream

This was one of the items I was most excited about. It is a hand cream that looks like a chocolate cookie! It has a good smell, not super sweet but still yummy smelling. It is moisturizing and the packaging keeps the product in it. You screw open the two pieces of cookies to get to the lotion. Really fun design! The package it cam in was a sealed bag that looks like a cookie packaging too!

Beauty Blending Sponge

I love beauty blending sponges, they make putting makeup on so easy. This one is super soft and spongy, I was worried since I am sure there is some latex in it, but it didn't make my skin red or have a reaction so that is good! (I couldn't find contents of it anywhere on the package) but it didn't bother my skin so woot! It blends great and washes up well (since I am super consistent about keeping all the brushes and sponges I put on my face clean.)

Purederm Vital Radiance Hair Mask - Honey

Hair masks are great! I have long super straight hair and deal with split ends pretty badly so I love hair masks to help strengthen my hair! This one wasn't super sticky (which was my first thought when I read Honey Hair mask.) it also was enough for my waist length hair. Rub it into your hair, let it sit for a little bit and then wash it out. Pretty straight forward.

Holika Holika Desert Lip Balm

This was the second product that I was excited for in this months bag. The cute cupcake lip balm. All of the options for this one were really cute and I like the choco one I got. the lip balm is a reddish color and gives off a little bit of a gleam to it when worn.

I love getting to try six full sized products every month in the BB Bags. Getting a mixture of skin care products and makeup products is great since only getting one of those two every month would be a bit much. Also Korean companies make such unique and great quality products that it is such a great value at 24.99 a month. The bags themselves can be hit or miss on how cute they look but all the products have been great to use so far! You can find more here!

[Korean Beauty] Etude House Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack: Black Tea

I love makeup products that look like food, One reason why Junes BB Bag was so fun for me! When I saw the Etude House Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack I wanted it! The only one they had left when I ordered was the Black Tea pack so I grabbed it!

The black tea sleeping pack is made with black tea and the package says it is to "make skin moisturized and elastic during the night with its compound of black tea gel and moisture capsule bubbles"

So what does all that mean? You can use the gel to put on your face to help with moisture and elasticity while you sleep. To get extra moisture you can dig out the bubbles and pop them and rub them into your skin. I have used this a few nights in a row and the black tea gel feels really good on your skin. It has a great cooling effect. The bubbles add that extra bit of moisture, and the fact that the bubbles are also part of the product is really cool and a well thought out part of this product.

It is also really cute that there is a straw/spoon to scoop out the bubble tea. This is great so you aren't putting your fingers in the product and keeping it clean. Once you scoop it out, you wipe off the spoon and you do not have to worry about contaminating the product at all. The Bubble Tea Sleeping Packs retail for 16.99 and you can find them on Beauteque here.

[Beauty] BB Bag May 2016

May was the second month I have been getting the BB Bag, and I am thrilled with this monthly subscription bag that comes with 6 full sized Korean beauty products in it. May's theme was Festival Friendly Finds. The bag had six wonderful products and a few I absolutely loved and was very happy to try out and now use regularly in my beauty regimen.

Milky Dress SOS Blemish Cream ($9.00) I had never heard of this blemish cream, but I was willing to try it out since I had a blemish on my skin. I put this cream on it when I went to bed, and it did help bring it down. I used it for two nights and the blemish had gone away. This cream worked wonderfully and I have used it a few times since I got my BB Bag and it has continued to impress me.

The Saem Healing Garden Tea Cleansing Tissue ($8.00). I use makeup cleansing tissues regularly and has run out before getting my BB Bag so I was excited to get something that I normally use. I had never tried this brand however. These wipes worked great, they are not as wet as some I have tried, but they felt good on the skin, and there are a lot of them so they will last me for awhile. One thing I love about this bag is that I get products I will use and not just set aside, like these.

Kinepin Beauty Nail Company Nail Kit ($6.00). I use a lot of nail wraps so products that help me do my nails are always wanted. This kit comes with a variety of tools for doing your nails from the little stick to push down your cuticles to the finger/toe separators, and so on. All are decent quality and will get used so Yay!

Prelab Toning Peeling Tap ($20.00). This was the one item I wasnt quite sure about when I was looking at it. They seem to be a face washing and moisturizer. You wet your face, then squeeze these little tabs and they exfoliate and moisturize the skin, you then rinse off the product and discard the little tab. I have used them a few times and they seem to be good.

The Saem Fresh Bamboo Smooth Gel ($15.00) This is a face and body moisturizer. The consistency is like aloe gel to me. It is to help moisturize dry dull skin. I love the cooling effect that the gel has on my skin when I use it, and the packaging is also pretty cool, since it is a giant piece of bamboo.

Nail Polish ($7.00) I got a light pink nail polish in my set this month. The color is pretty and will get used by either me or my mother in the future, since nail polish (and nail wraps) are worn pretty regularly by myself.

So far I have not been disappointed in the BB Bag, I really like all the item and am super excited for next month (which also had a food beauty theme so of course I am REALLY excited about that.) The bag is $24.99 a month and comes with six full sized products. You can check it out here.

[Koren Beauty] April's BB Box

This post is a little late since I have been out of town for the past two months and am playing catch up with all my mail and beauty products! April was the first month I have ever gotten a BB bag from Beautique, and I was so happy I got this one! First off one of the products has a Pug on it (and we all know how much I love Pugs) second I love Korean beauty products, so to get a bag with five full sized products for not an incredibly large price tag ($24.99) it was awesome! This months theme was "Big City Beauty"

First we will start off with the bag. It is spacious and has a zipper top. I am not super in love with the pink shiny look of it, but it is very well made.

The Saem Saemmul Easy Eyeliner ($9.99). This is a basic black eyeliner. You turn the top to make the eyeliner come out and apply it. Pretty straight forward since it is an eyeliner. Black in color and went on smooth!

Dr. Morita Moisturizing Essence Eye Mask ($9.00). These are small eye mask pads that go on under your eyes to help moisturize that area of your face. These are amazing and I love under eye masks so much.  You keep them on for 10-15 minutes (I sometimes keep them on longer depending on how much product is on them) and then massage the rest of the leftover product into your skin once you remove them.

Toyoepin 2 in 1 Permanent Crazy Mini Natural False Lash ($7.99). I rarely wear false lashes, I have pretty long natural lashes so wearing them seems silly for regular day wear. I haven't gotten a chance to try these out yet since the only time I do wear lashes is in costume (they will most likely be tried out this weekend at Animazement)

Seatree Art Moisture Mist ($10.99) I love moisture mists. They are great if the air is really dry (like on planes) or if your skin is just naturally dry, it helps give you that extra spritz of moisture when you need it during the day. This stuff is great and I love the packaging. It has vitamin C in it and you can spritz it over your makeup.

Baviphat Urban Dollkiss Mango Magic Brightening Mask ($21.00) I was so excited when I saw that this mask was an option that you could get in this months bag (the other being the Peach peeling gel) I would have been thrilled with either of these since I love Urban Dollkiss' products! This is a mask you put on, leave on for a few minutes (it says 2-3 I normally keep it on for maybe 5) and then wash off and dry skin. These masks are always so relaxing and make your skin feel so soft (and smell good!)

Somoon Dog Nose Pore 3 Step Pack ($5.99) This was the one product I was so excited about when I opened up my BB Bag this month. It has a Pug on it, and we all know I am a sucker for products that put Pugs on their packaging. This is a three way nose pore strip, you apply the first one for 10-15 min, then the second for the same amount of time, and then the third for 15-20 min to help with moisturizing your nose after the first two help remove black heads and sebum. I love pore strips, they really help me since I have huge pores and an issue with black heads.... (And come on there is a Pug on the packaging!)

I LOVE the BB Bag, I think this is my favorite so far out of any beauty bags that I have done. I am hoping my funds stay up so I can continue to get it for a few months!

Want to check it out then go to Beautique's webpage for their BB Bag here!

[Korean Beauty Products] Beauteque Mask Maven February Bag

Mask Maven is a monthly bag where you get around 9-11 full sized face masks delivered in a drawstring bag. The masks can be anything from cute Korean animal face masks, eye masks to gel face masks. You can subscribe for one month or more, and you get a discount with the more you subscribe too. I was gifted a three month subscription from a friend, so I am looking forward to the next three months of face masks!

Fabulous February comes with 9 different masks, from green tea, to Honey, to blueberry masks! They all look fantastic and some have some really fun packaging too!

There are a few masks that you could get one or the other for, they have them all listed on this list. I really like that they have the instructions and what the mask is on this list, as well as what benefits the mask is supposed to have for your skin, since some of them are not all written in English (since these are Korean Face Masks.)

The first mask I used was the Mizon face sheet mask. This is supposed to be a calming mask that soothes your skin. It also has moisturizer in it to moisturize your skin. I have not used a lot of these type of masks in the past (a few but not too many) this was when I first felt it felt slimy to me (in a good way) and when putting it on my face it felt good on my skin.

I also look super scary in these masks, like a character out of a horror movie!

I haven't gotten to use all the masks in this bag yet, but some of these have super cute artwork on the packages. I love the cute Green Tea and Honey Bee drawings on these.

As well as this one Black Face Sheet Mask that is a honey mask. This one smelled good when I had it on, and was very cooling on my skin.

These two masks intrigue me, one is a "cactus" mask and the other is a "Snail and black pearl" mask, both are things I would normally not put on my face, but I really want to try them!

Leaders Sheet Mask had three different ones that could have come in your bag, you got one of those three. I got the AC-Dressing sheet mask that is supposed to fight acne and redness and reduce pre appearance.

My favorite of ALL the masks in this bag, the Animal Mask. These masks have designs on them, so when you wear they make your face look like the animal, in this case a Honey Bear. I was so excited a cute animal mask came in this months bag, since I love these things. This one contains honey, blueberry, raspberry and royal jelly to help elasticity, and hydrate your face.

The last mask is a wash off blueberry mask. It had a lotion consistency once opened and was enough for at least two uses. This one is supposed to fight acne and signs of aging.

Mask Maven is $15 for a month to month subscription the more months you sign up the price goes down a little. I loved my first month of it and will hopefully be able to make it through all these masks before my next one comes (and if not then Ill just use them all up as fast as I can!) You can find more info here!
