[Influenster] E.L.F. Vox box

I have been doing Influenster for almost two years and love it. I get to try out all types of different products and occasionally get stuff that I really like! I was THRILLED to find out I got in on the E.L.F. vox box and was getting to try out a bunch of really cool products in it! This box came with 5 full sized items to try and I am absolutely ecstatic about some of them!

First item up is the e.l.f. Hydrating Bubble Mask. This stuff was so fun! It comes out as a gel and you rub it on your face, and it bubbles/foams up, It has that tingling feel to it. You keep it on for 10 minutes, or however long it takes the bubbles to go away, and then wash the access off with a warm wash cloth. This stuff left my face feeling clean and soft.

e.l.f. Mineral Infused Facial Primer. This clear gel goes onto the skin before you apply makeup as a barrier on your skin to help foundation and powder go on smooth. It has a silky feel once you have rubbed it into your skin and feels great. The feel reminds me of the Smashbox face primer I normally use. There is also a lot in this little bottle to last you for many makeup applications!

e.l.f. Baked Highlighter and Bronzer in "Bronzed Glow". I love highlighters so much, this one was ok, At first you have to rub a lot off to get it to come off, but after that it worked great. The colors tones were great for my pale skin and the bronzer wasn't crazy dark on me, which is always a problem I have with bronzers. Not sure if I would continue using this like the other products I received but it would be a good, in a crunch item, if i absolutely needed a bronzer and highlighter.

e.l.f. Lip Color in "Wine". This color is lovely and the lip color went on very smooth and had great coverage. I love the pencil style tips on a lot of these lip colors and it makes them so easy to apply. This wasnt a color I would wear all the time, but i would definitely be interested in seeing the other colors offered since this was a nice quality lip color.

Out of the five items I received, the bubble mask and THIS RIGHT HERE were my absolute favorite items. The e.l.f "Mint Maniac" lip conditioner. This stuff is amazing! It conditions and exfoliates your lips and leaves them so smooth. It has a subtle mint scent and taste to it, but it is not overpowering at all. I absolutely love this stuff and will most likely purchase it again. I also noticed they had two other types, not sure if they are exactly the same just different scents/tastes but definitely something to check out if you like lip moisturizers.

Influenster is a great program where you review products and occasionally get sent free stuff to review! I love it and if you like reviewing products then you should check it out.

I received all these items free to try, but as always I write my honest opinion on products. So all written is my honest review of the items sent.

[Beauty] Ipsy October Bag

I have been doing Ipsy for almost two years now and really enjoy all the different makeup and facial products I get in it. October was a really awesome month for Ipsy, I was so excited to see that they did a themed bag for the month with ghosts, witches hats and crystal balls on it.

The "Theme" for this months is "Black Magic" and had a lot of darker colors in the bags. I was really happy with all I received this month, but I generally can use everything Ipsy sends me.

I have received a few different tre'Stique products in Ipsy, from lip colors to eye shadow colors. They have all been great and I really liked the quality of them. This is a lip color called "Fig". It has a matte finish and the packaging turns so more product can come out when you need it too. This is a delux sample size. the full sizes retails for $28.00 on their webpage

Ciate' London flick eyeliner in black. I have seen Ciate' London's nail polishes before but have never tried their makeup line. I was really excited to get a black eyeliner in a format I really like. I love the felt tip liners because they are so wonderful to apply and stay on compared to the pencils in my opinion. This liner makes a nice smooth line and it goes on smooth. It retails for $19.00 on their webpage.

Ipsy loves to send out natural and brown eye-shadows. I was happy with this set because the brown is almost a black color. but would love some variety in their eye-shadow shades... This is by Vintage by Jessica Liebskind. It has a creamy vanilla shade and a dark brown-black shade (colors are called Vanilla and Espresso). The shadow itself is easy to apply and has a decent amount of pigmentation. This is a sample size. the full size retails for $30.00 on their webpage.

Patchology FlashPatch Eye Gels. I love getting face masks style products in my ipsy bags. I already get Mask Maven each month, but love face masks so much (especially during the winter when my skin gets dry.) These are gel eye patches that go under your eyes to help moisturize and make your skin look awesome! This company makes all types of masks for face, hands, and feet. This is a sample size for two uses a full size retails for $50.00 and can be found here

My last item is an item I already use in my regular makeup routine, Make Up Forever's Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation. I love this stuff, it goes on smooth and covers up blemishes, redness. It is one of the best foundations I have found in my journey to find something that works for my skin! This is a sample size, but fits great in my travel bag so I was really excited to get it. The shade is one darker than I would normally use, so will have to see how that works out for me since I generally use the lightest shade they make. This retails for $43.00. It can be purchased here.

I love how Ipsy is starting to do more themes with their bags. This months was awesome, and I am so happy with all the products I received. Ipsy is $10 a month and you can find out more here

[Beauty] June 2016 Beauteque BB Bag

Beauteque's BB Bag is always a really fun monthly bag to get, it comes with six full sized Korean products and a cute makeup bag. Each month has a theme, this months was "Sweets", which I was really excited about since it was products with a food theme. The bag this month wasn't my favorite, but it is spacious and can hold a lot even if it is not visually amazing.

Each month Beauteque does spoilers for their bag, they announced 1,2,3 and 6 on the list. I really like this so you have an idea of what you are getting, while also still having a surprise for 2 or 3 of the items in the bag.

Holika Holika Cover Hiding Concealer in #2

Holika Holika Cover Hiding Concealer is a pretty straight forward product. its a pencil concealer. The color was actually pretty good for my skin tone. It was creamy and went on smooth and blended well into my skin. It is also not a huge product size so it fits well into my makeup bag.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask

This mask is great! It exfoliates and feels good on your skin. You scoop it out and put it on your skin, keep it on for 15 minutes or so, and then wash it off. After using this my skin felt great, clean and smooth.

The Saem Chocopie Hand Cream

This was one of the items I was most excited about. It is a hand cream that looks like a chocolate cookie! It has a good smell, not super sweet but still yummy smelling. It is moisturizing and the packaging keeps the product in it. You screw open the two pieces of cookies to get to the lotion. Really fun design! The package it cam in was a sealed bag that looks like a cookie packaging too!

Beauty Blending Sponge

I love beauty blending sponges, they make putting makeup on so easy. This one is super soft and spongy, I was worried since I am sure there is some latex in it, but it didn't make my skin red or have a reaction so that is good! (I couldn't find contents of it anywhere on the package) but it didn't bother my skin so woot! It blends great and washes up well (since I am super consistent about keeping all the brushes and sponges I put on my face clean.)

Purederm Vital Radiance Hair Mask - Honey

Hair masks are great! I have long super straight hair and deal with split ends pretty badly so I love hair masks to help strengthen my hair! This one wasn't super sticky (which was my first thought when I read Honey Hair mask.) it also was enough for my waist length hair. Rub it into your hair, let it sit for a little bit and then wash it out. Pretty straight forward.

Holika Holika Desert Lip Balm

This was the second product that I was excited for in this months bag. The cute cupcake lip balm. All of the options for this one were really cute and I like the choco one I got. the lip balm is a reddish color and gives off a little bit of a gleam to it when worn.

I love getting to try six full sized products every month in the BB Bags. Getting a mixture of skin care products and makeup products is great since only getting one of those two every month would be a bit much. Also Korean companies make such unique and great quality products that it is such a great value at 24.99 a month. The bags themselves can be hit or miss on how cute they look but all the products have been great to use so far! You can find more here!

[Geeky Beauty] Fortune Cookie Soaps Summer Soap Box

Four times a year Fortune Cookie Soap does a Soap Box, it costs 19.99 each time and you get sent smaller versions of their new lines they have coming out. The Summer box for 2016 was titled "Just Keep Swimming". This was my first Soap Box and I was so excited since I have tried a bunch of Fortune Cookie soaps products, but getting smaller version of stuff I normally would not buy to try is great since it has made me want to get larger versions or try other collections with them in it.

I'll start off with the staple of Fortune Cookie Soaps, the Fortune Cookie Soap! This one is Orange with white stripes to go along with the Finding Nemo theme. It is an orange scent with vanilla in it as well. It also has hints of strawberry and sandalwood. Very nice to smell and the scent is not over powering. The design is so pretty that I almost do not want to use it.

Duuuuuude! This hand sanitizer is like, awesome! The hand sanitizer is actually the first ever product I purchased from Fortune Cookie Soaps and I really loved it. This one has a pear and apples scent to it, and the bottle is the perfect size to fit in a purse or store in a car!

I love FCS's whipped creams, they feel so good on the skin and it is always the one product I will purchase from any of their sets, since I know if it is cream or aloe I will love it and it will feel amazing on my skin! Intervention has a coconut and pineapple smell to it, I am not a huge pineapple fan, but I would still use this anyways since this is one of my favorite products from them!

I had to be careful with this one at first to make sure the avocado in it wouldn't break me out, luckily it did not (I have a food allergy and it occasionally bothers me in bath/makeup products too.) This has a strong jasmine, strawberry and black currant smell to it, and it smells amazing.

My favorite scent from this entire line, it smells good enough to eat! But don't do that! The main scent in this is cherry, which is why I love it so much I think, but is also has Guava and Watermelon in there too with a small hint of strawberries and key lime. This stuff is so fun, it is a jelly that you lather up and use as a body wash in the shower/tub whatever.

This stuff is so nice compared to normal lotion bottles. It sprays on and soaks into you skin so well. You spray it into you hands or where you want to put it and then rub it in, no creamy mess or anything. It has a Lychee smell with apples (it also says peach on the card but I cant smell that.) I love Lychee so this one smelled great to me!

Visually this was my favorite thing in the box! I LOVE turtles so a pedi bomb shaped as one is awesome! It has a lemon limey smell with a hint of orchids in it. My feet are looking forward to this little guy when I get a chance to use him!

The last item is a lip gloss. this stuff smells amazing and feels amazing on your lips as well. It has a lovely light pink tint to it when worn with a wonderful shine to it. It smells like watermelon and honeydew. It can be a little messy in the small container they put it in, but other than that it is really nice.

You can check out the Fortune Cookie Soaps, Soap Box here or check out their webpage for all their fun other products in this line here!

Fortune Cookie Soaps Anti Hero Collection

Fortune Cookie Soaps is one of my favorite body product companies, and I love that they do nerdy themed goodies! They are getting ready to do am Anti Heroes set and it is based on, you guessed it Suicide Squad! There are some great items in this one and there are a few I am hoping I can pick up before they sell out of them! Check out the collection below and be sure to get them early since they always sell out of their items when they first release them!

Check out the Pintrest board link right here!

[Influenster] Blush VoxBox

I know a lot of you who frequent this blog have seen me post about Influenster. A free program where you try stuff out and write about it and review the products. I am always a pretty big advocate of reviewing the items I get truthfully. All the items below I received for free, but my opinions are my own as always! This box contained four items in it, all to get you ready for that big day (wedding) or whatever party you were gearing up for. It contains;

Pantene Expert Shampoo and Conditioner. Which worked well, I like the bottle sizes so the rest of this will go in my travel bag, but I didn't see any extreme change in my hair after using this for a few days. It smells good, and didn't weigh my hair down (which is a big deal for me because I have very thin hair.) So over all a good shampoo.

Secret Clinical Strength Clear Gel in Ooh-la-la Lavender Scent. I really like the scent on this, and I generally do not use a gel deodorant because I do not like the feel of it, but after using this for a few days I can say this doesn't give me that cold, wet underarm feeling that most gels do. I am definitely going to be using the rest of this bottle.

Simple Skincare Micellar Make-Up remover wipes.  I was really excited about these because I had just ran out of makeup wipes, so woot for something new to try that I needed. These worked well and have a nice smell to them. They got the makeup off my face at the end of the day and I didn't need to use a bunch of them, they didn't want to fall apart either, like some wipes do.

Ardell Lashes. I do not generally wear lashes, unless I am wearing a costume, so these were the last thing I used in the box. I will say I threw out the adhesive right away since I am allergic to latex, and had to use my own adhesive. They worked well, went on good and looked like lashes, so nothing super fantastic about them, but they did their job for me, so that is a plus!

Overall this was a very good and practical VoxBox to get, I use most of the products on an everyday basis (minus the lashes) so getting stuff I actually use in brands I have not tried is always a plus for me!

[Koren Beauty] April's BB Box

This post is a little late since I have been out of town for the past two months and am playing catch up with all my mail and beauty products! April was the first month I have ever gotten a BB bag from Beautique, and I was so happy I got this one! First off one of the products has a Pug on it (and we all know how much I love Pugs) second I love Korean beauty products, so to get a bag with five full sized products for not an incredibly large price tag ($24.99) it was awesome! This months theme was "Big City Beauty"

First we will start off with the bag. It is spacious and has a zipper top. I am not super in love with the pink shiny look of it, but it is very well made.

The Saem Saemmul Easy Eyeliner ($9.99). This is a basic black eyeliner. You turn the top to make the eyeliner come out and apply it. Pretty straight forward since it is an eyeliner. Black in color and went on smooth!

Dr. Morita Moisturizing Essence Eye Mask ($9.00). These are small eye mask pads that go on under your eyes to help moisturize that area of your face. These are amazing and I love under eye masks so much.  You keep them on for 10-15 minutes (I sometimes keep them on longer depending on how much product is on them) and then massage the rest of the leftover product into your skin once you remove them.

Toyoepin 2 in 1 Permanent Crazy Mini Natural False Lash ($7.99). I rarely wear false lashes, I have pretty long natural lashes so wearing them seems silly for regular day wear. I haven't gotten a chance to try these out yet since the only time I do wear lashes is in costume (they will most likely be tried out this weekend at Animazement)

Seatree Art Moisture Mist ($10.99) I love moisture mists. They are great if the air is really dry (like on planes) or if your skin is just naturally dry, it helps give you that extra spritz of moisture when you need it during the day. This stuff is great and I love the packaging. It has vitamin C in it and you can spritz it over your makeup.

Baviphat Urban Dollkiss Mango Magic Brightening Mask ($21.00) I was so excited when I saw that this mask was an option that you could get in this months bag (the other being the Peach peeling gel) I would have been thrilled with either of these since I love Urban Dollkiss' products! This is a mask you put on, leave on for a few minutes (it says 2-3 I normally keep it on for maybe 5) and then wash off and dry skin. These masks are always so relaxing and make your skin feel so soft (and smell good!)

Somoon Dog Nose Pore 3 Step Pack ($5.99) This was the one product I was so excited about when I opened up my BB Bag this month. It has a Pug on it, and we all know I am a sucker for products that put Pugs on their packaging. This is a three way nose pore strip, you apply the first one for 10-15 min, then the second for the same amount of time, and then the third for 15-20 min to help with moisturizing your nose after the first two help remove black heads and sebum. I love pore strips, they really help me since I have huge pores and an issue with black heads.... (And come on there is a Pug on the packaging!)

I LOVE the BB Bag, I think this is my favorite so far out of any beauty bags that I have done. I am hoping my funds stay up so I can continue to get it for a few months!

Want to check it out then go to Beautique's webpage for their BB Bag here!

[Korean Beauty Products] Beauteque Mask Maven February Bag

Mask Maven is a monthly bag where you get around 9-11 full sized face masks delivered in a drawstring bag. The masks can be anything from cute Korean animal face masks, eye masks to gel face masks. You can subscribe for one month or more, and you get a discount with the more you subscribe too. I was gifted a three month subscription from a friend, so I am looking forward to the next three months of face masks!

Fabulous February comes with 9 different masks, from green tea, to Honey, to blueberry masks! They all look fantastic and some have some really fun packaging too!

There are a few masks that you could get one or the other for, they have them all listed on this list. I really like that they have the instructions and what the mask is on this list, as well as what benefits the mask is supposed to have for your skin, since some of them are not all written in English (since these are Korean Face Masks.)

The first mask I used was the Mizon face sheet mask. This is supposed to be a calming mask that soothes your skin. It also has moisturizer in it to moisturize your skin. I have not used a lot of these type of masks in the past (a few but not too many) this was when I first felt it felt slimy to me (in a good way) and when putting it on my face it felt good on my skin.

I also look super scary in these masks, like a character out of a horror movie!

I haven't gotten to use all the masks in this bag yet, but some of these have super cute artwork on the packages. I love the cute Green Tea and Honey Bee drawings on these.

As well as this one Black Face Sheet Mask that is a honey mask. This one smelled good when I had it on, and was very cooling on my skin.

These two masks intrigue me, one is a "cactus" mask and the other is a "Snail and black pearl" mask, both are things I would normally not put on my face, but I really want to try them!

Leaders Sheet Mask had three different ones that could have come in your bag, you got one of those three. I got the AC-Dressing sheet mask that is supposed to fight acne and redness and reduce pre appearance.

My favorite of ALL the masks in this bag, the Animal Mask. These masks have designs on them, so when you wear they make your face look like the animal, in this case a Honey Bear. I was so excited a cute animal mask came in this months bag, since I love these things. This one contains honey, blueberry, raspberry and royal jelly to help elasticity, and hydrate your face.

The last mask is a wash off blueberry mask. It had a lotion consistency once opened and was enough for at least two uses. This one is supposed to fight acne and signs of aging.

Mask Maven is $15 for a month to month subscription the more months you sign up the price goes down a little. I loved my first month of it and will hopefully be able to make it through all these masks before my next one comes (and if not then Ill just use them all up as fast as I can!) You can find more info here!
