[Geek Beauty] Espionage Cosmetics October BOOM Box!

Espionage Cosmetics releases their Boom Box! every two months. It happened to fall on October this year, and that means a box filled with Halloween goodies. The theme this month is called "Haunted" and I think it has to be one of my favorites ever!
This months box came with a wide variety of items from Nail wraps, to Espionage Cosmetics everything shadow and lip serums, to earrings, hair bows and some cool art!

First I am going to start off with the nail wraps. I love Espionage's nail wraps. I wear them all the time, and the prospect of spooky nail wraps makes me so happy! this months box came with two different deisgns. Red Rum, a murderous design, and then my favorite of the two Graveyard. I cannot wait to put these on my nails! I love the colors in Graveyard too!

Bat Clips! Holy cow, I am in love with these clips. They fit everything I ever want in cute hair accessories! I love bats, I love sparkles, I love black accessories! They have crocodile clips on them, so they will stay in my fine hair! I am so in love with these and cannot wait to wear them everywhere!

Art Print by Nerdy Post. This print is very cute. I love the calligraphy style art and it is subtle enough to put in any room to add that extra nerdy touch. The quality is also really nice and the printing itself it bright and high quality.

Sparks Emporium Earrings. These are so pretty! They are blood red with sparkles on it (and I do love sparkles.) They are post earrings and are well made and sturdy. They look great in and sparkle. They are made by Sparks Emporium.

And lastly this months box came with four of the awesome Espionage Cosmetics Makeup! 2 everything shadows and two Lip Serums, (and two containers to mix in!) I love both of these so much, the everything shadows work great for eye shadow and if you like to do any type of crazy face painting like I do, they work great for that too!
The Boom box is released every other month and costs $30.00. You can find out more info here!

[Geeky Makeup] July Espionage Cosmetics NEXUS! "Passport to Nihon"

The second month of Espionage Cosmetics NEXUS monthly subscription's theme had me really excited, and OMG! the nail wraps that came in it are AMAZING! I have no idea how I am going to choose between these two designs for their voting. The theme was "passport to Nihon" and it featured two Nail Wrap designs with a Japanese feel to them.

The Neko-Chan design features cute cats and hearts and is really colorful. This design is super cute (sadly this was not the one that won, man, if only there was a way to vote for both designs and they both win, lol.)

LOOK AT THOSE KITTIES!

The second design is titled Ukiyo-e, and features koi fish and a wave design on it. I love this design, it looks so good on my nails and I got so many compliments when wearing it. The wraps went on easy and stayed on for two weeks, and just looked overall awesome!

NEXUS is a monthly subscription through Espionage Cosmetics, where for $15.00 a month you get two nails wraps that are part of a theme. They have voting and the one with the most votes becomes a regular design that they sell on their webpage. You can find out more info here.

[Geeky Makeup] Espoinage Cosmetics June 2016 BOOM Box! Naturally Awesome!

June's BOOM Box is my second box that I have gotten from Espionage Cosmetics, and I LOVE it! I wear their nail wraps all the time, so getting more nail wraps to add to my collection to choose from when I put new ones on is always awesome! This months theme was "Naturally Awesome" and came with a lot of really amazing items

First off the nail wraps, this box had two designs in it, Pretty Poison and Turquoise. Pretty Poison is a leaf and vine deisgn with a venus fly trap on it. It is a clear design so you can wear nail polish under it, I decided not too when I wore these.

I really loved how this design looks and  the earthy tones went with basically everything I would wear while I had these on!

The next item in this months box were three color sheets and a set of 12 color pencils. The sheets have the Espionage crest on them, a Fern Gully page and one with the word Powers on it, and who doesn't love to color!

The next item is one of my favorites from the box, a fun "Feed Me" candle from Boozy Arts. I LOVE candles and use them all the time, so a new candle is always welcome in my house. This one has a pine/tree/earthy smell to it and it pleasant.

It also looks awesome lit!

I love Espionage's everything shadow.  So getting three colors that are meant for highlighting but could also be used as eye shadows and lip colors, so having so many options to use them for is great! I love versatile makeup! These colors have really fun names too! The bronzer color is called "Terrafirma" (bottom), A white highlighter with a hint of pink in it is called "Thermosphere" (left side), and the last highlighter is called "Cryosphere" (right side).

The final item in the box is absolutely my favorite out of all the items in it! Treestar Hair Pins!!!! The Land Before Time is one of my all time favorite movies. I LOVE dinosaurs and still have my Little Foot stuffed doll that my parents bought me when the movie came out, so I may have made some happy screams when I saw these after opening the BOOM Box! up.

The stars are made fro wonderful quality and the hair pins fit tightly into the hair.  Such an amazing item to have in this box!!!

So far I have had nothing but good things to say about Espionage Cosmetics, and recommend them to all my friends who love geeky makeup! Want to check out the BOOM Box! or their monthly NEXUS? Check them out here!

[Nerdy Nails] Espionage Cosmetics June NEXUS!

This month Espionage decided to start something new, and offer a cheaper monthly nail wrap option. For $15.00 a month they send you 2 new nail wrap designs, you get a link to vote which one you like the best and that one becomes a normal design you can purchase. The awesome people at Espionage sent out a code for BOOM Box! subscribers to get their first NEXUS for free, me being the nail wrap loving person I am jumped on this and I got my NEXUS package today inside of my BOOM Box!

This months theme was "Formulaic" and has two sciencey nail wrap designs in it! I had no idea what to expect, but since I do a lot of the Mystery Packs from them, I figured I was OK, since I generally do not always know what I am getting anyways.

We will start off with my favorite out of the two designs in this months NEXUS! I like both designs, but Euler's Formula was aesthetically my favorite of the two.  I generally go to darker colors or lighter ones when it comes to nail wraps. I am really excited to wear these!

The second design is called Chemistry, and is Orange with atom designs and the periodic table on it. I like this design as well, but am not a fan of the color orange which was why the above design ended up being my favorite of the two, Ill still wear this one since the design on it is cute, but the color is just one I am not a huge fan off (now if this was in green or purple, OMG that would be awesome!)

Overall I am really excited to see the new designs that come out each month for NEXUS. If you are interested in it, it is $15.00 and you can find out more details on Espionage's BOOM Box! page here.

[Geeky Makeup] Espionage Cosmetics BOOM Box April 2016! Fabled

A few months ago Espionage Cosmetics launched their BOOM Box, a makeup and more box that features their nail wraps, lips and all over colors as well as other geeky/nerdy companies items as well! I missed out on the first two boxes due to funds, but was able to subscribe for their third box which was themed "Fabled". I was so excited for this box, as you can tell from many of my posts, I LOVE espionage cosmetics and their nail wraps and other products (I am currently buy their all over shadow and stocking up on colors to do a fun makeup!) So I was so excited to see what I would get in this months box, since I was starting to run low on nail wraps and with the school year ending soon and only having my film makeup jobs to make up for the income, the extra spending wont be happening much!

This months box had a lot of great goodies in it, and I was so excited to see what was going to be in there, the previous two boxes were fantastic, so this one had to be too!!
So lets get started with all the awesome in them!

I'll star off with the fun Espionage swag that they send in their boxes. A fab nail file (since you need those to do the nail wraps!) a emblem sticker with everything you need in like (makeup, unicorns, and swords!) and a business card for the Boom Box! Now onward to the super exciting stuff!

Digital Soaps teamed up with the BOOM Box and offered a lovely glittery unocorn head soap! Looking at the card in the box it looks like there were three colors, Green (which I got), Purple and Blue. It is sparkly which is awesome and a unicorn! It will go amazing in my bathroom and I am very excited by Nerdy bath items!

Another amazing bath item in this months box, Rosina Leckermaul's House of Sweets Strawberry & Basil Sugar Scrub. This stuff smells like heaven, if heaven smelled like strawberries and basil. It has a great sugar scrub consistency and smells and feels wonderful to use! And it is bright pink! So bright and wonderful looking and smelling! It also leaves your skin smelling and feeling amazing after a shower!

Next up is an item from the Espionage Geek Boutique,  a set of three lovely mermaid inspired note cards, each has a saying in the lower corner and has a shiny scale motif on them. They are post card styles note cards and have envelopes to put them in once you have written your message on the back!

These fun temporary fairy tattoos are a first for Espionage! The box came with two packs of the same fairy designs, the dancing gold fairies then the written words as well. I am really excited to wear these since I loved the temporary tattoos as a kid and these feel like an older version of those! Also fairies!

I was SOOOOOOOO excited when I found out that the box would contain a new color for their everything shadow and a Lip serum! I was even more excited when I opened the box and the lip serum was purple (my favorite color!) The everything shadow is called Rumpelstiltskin and is a gold/yellow color. The Lip serum is called Banshee and is a sheer purple. You can mix the two together too (what the small plastic container is for) and make a peachy color as well! I have had so much fun using these, their Lip Serums are not sticky, they are super moisturizing and they feel amazing on your lips (and smell amazing too!)

The last item in the BOOM Box is what I was most excited about! I LOVE Espionage's nail wraps, I wear them all the time and am always excited when I am able to get new designs to wear and coordinate with my outfits! This months box had two new designs and you got one or the other (a Fairy design) and then the Valknjoggr, a dragon design, which is the one I received. Everyone also got Mystical Mane, a unicorn inspired set with fabulous glittery main nails and unicorn eyes as well! I am so excited to wear these since they both look amazing and I love the fantasy styles so much!

You can check out the BOOM Box here online! hey are now taking orders for June, so if you want to get in on the next one that has the theme Naturally Awesome, then get on it quick, they do sell out each month!

[Geek Makeup Review!] More Ways to Have an Awesome Nerd Manicure!

So I sat looking at the extra on my Espionage Cosmetics Nail Wraps the other day and decided to do something different to use up the extra bits I had left. I decided to try out a somewhat french manicure with the extra bits that I had on the ends of the nail wraps I had originally cut off, and I love the results!

Over the last few months (since the end of February) I have work four different Espionage Nail Wraps (Literary,Orange and Pink Masks, Pitch Perfect and Nebulae.) I wanted some cute music nails again, so I grabbed the remainder of the Pitch Perfect and my Lavender Probelle Nail Polish I got in my Ipsy Bag this month and went to town!

Doing the tips did take a lot longer than just putting on the wraps, the challenge was making sure the nail polish was completely dry and wouldn't dent when applying them. I got them on and love the overall look of them, but I also know better for next time to paint my nails and let them dry for at least 30 min. or so before I try to put the tips on. I finished them off with Essie gel nail top coat so there wasn't a gap between the nail wrap and the nail to pull it off (I always use this top coat on my nail wraps anyways since it helps keep them on, in my opinion.)

I definitely will try this out with my other leftovers from my nail wraps (I knew I saved them for a reason!) I would also suggest this to others who want to try out a different look on their nails, who also love the nail wraps and nail polish!
